Kristian Jeffrey

A second-generation racer in a family of sportsmen and women, it was inevitable that Kristian would race (although he’s also been a mean squash player at National level). He started riding – not racing - bikes at age six but, encouraged by family, raced karts instead, winning the first shifter kart race in Guyana in 2007, then the Championship, before migrating to Canada. He first raced cars in 2013, claimed a hat-trick of wins on his Caribbean Motor Racing Championship debut at Bushy Park in 2014, then won back-to-back titles in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, 14 wins in 21 races a record unlikely to be broken. He represented Guyana in the Race Of Champions Caribbean Cup 2014 at Bushy Park Barbados and has raced in the UK Radical Challenge Championship, finishing fifth in 2017 and fourth in 2018.
