DMACK tyres for Suzuki Challenge Series
DMACK, an authorised tyre supplier to the FIA World Rally Championship since 2011, is supplying the all-weather control tyres used in the Swift Cup, which returns to Bushy Park Barbados for round two on May 9/10.
The type T91 – the size is 195/50/16 for the Swift Sport - is a treaded rally tyre designed to work in all conditions, a hybrid between wet and slick, so is a cost-effective and practical way to maintain the Swift Cup's level playing field. Each driver will receive 12 tyres for the year, with a maximum of six to be used at any one race meeting.
Based in Carlisle in the north of England, where the tyres are designed using British technology and years of experience in world motor sport, DMACK has a bespoke manufacturing facility in China with an emphasis on high-quality production, with processes focused on excellence and environmental sustainability. Its global network of appointed partners covers more than 70 countries, offering a range of road, truck and industrial tyres alongside its motor sport and track day brands.
In motor sport, DMACK has recently extended for a further two seasons its contract as sole tyre supplier to the FIA CODASUR South American Rally Championship, which began in 2013. The Drive DMACK World Rally Team has started its WRC 2 defence with victories in Sweden and Mexico – team driver Finn Jari Ketomaa also leads the drivers'; championship - while defending Rally America National Champion David Higgins claimed a dominant opening victory on the Sno-Drift Rally for his DMACK-supported team.
