Sean Maloney, who established a new Qualifying Lap Record on Sunday, won twice to lie second in the standings, with brother Stuart third, after a string of second-place finishes. In the cool of Saturday evening, under the all-arena lighting, Mark Maloney had added a new Qualifying Record to the Race Record he set last year, although he was to hold it for less than 24 hours. Esuf and Gale win Suzuki Challenge Series titles
In a dramatic finale to the Suzuki Challenge Series during the Barbados Festival of Speed at Bushy Park on Saturday (October 14), Sol Esuf withstood huge pressure from Stuart Maloney in the double-points final to win back-to-back SR3 Cup titles. Despite finishing only third and fourth in the last two races, Barry Gale had done enough to lift the Swift Cup crown, as the Suzuki regulars raced under the new all-arena lighting for the first time and under the watchful eye of former F1 World Champion Jenson Button. With thunderstorms beating across the island and a flood warning in place, even...

Double points under lights for Suzuki Challenge Series
The 2017 Suzuki Challenge Series Champions will be crowned at Bushy Park Barbados on Saturday (October 14) . . . but not until the final chequered flag has fallen. To add to the pressure, the finale will be played out, for the first time, under the facility's new all-arena lighting and the grid will be based on qualifying times reversed. The fourth and final rounds of the Suzuki Challenge Series top the roster of...

Maloney and Jeffrey break Bushy Park Barbados lap records
Mark Maloney broke the Outright Lap Record for Bushy Park Barbados on Sunday (September 2) during round three of the Suzuki Challenge Series at the Williams Industries International Race Meet, just one day after Guyana's Kristian Jeffrey had set a new Qualifying Record. Both records were previously held by ‘Sol'; Esuf, who nevertheless extended his lead in the SR3 Cup standings with two wins. In the Swift Cup, points-leader Barry Gale and his closest challenger, Trinidad & Tobago's Ryan Peyrau, each scored 48 points, so Gale's four-point lead remained intact, while Justin Campbell claimed...
